Rincón de la Vieja Volcano Hike and Hot Springs

This is one of the best places in the country for hiking, the quality of the trails, the quantity of flora and fauna and the panoramic views, all the residual volcanic activity such as boiling mud pools and fumaroles, or just experience both, tropical dry forest and tropical transitional rain forest during the same hike makes this trails unique.

Some of the wildlife you can see there are, toucans, spider monkeys, white faced monkeys, armadillos, peccaries, coatis among other species of animals.

After that hike it will be a good time to cool off at one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region, Oropendola waterfall. With an easy access path we will spend some time there swimming or just taking pictures, then we will go to the hot springs and volcanic mud bath heated naturally by the volcano, located few minutes away from the waterfall.
